Roborock F25 Ultra: Making Home Cleaning Easier with Steam and Hot Water

I just used the Roborock F25 Ultra and am truly impressed with its steam and hot water cleaning capabilities.

Are you struggling with stubborn stains, greasy residues, or hard-to-remove dirt on your floors? I completely understand that feeling because I used to spend a lot of time and effort cleaning my home. Recently, I had the opportunity to try the Roborock F25 Ultra floor cleaning robot, and I must say it has changed my perspective on cleaning.

The Power of Steam and Hot Water: No Stain Can Stand a Chance

What I love most about the F25 Ultra is its high-temperature cleaning capability. The device has two main modes: VaporFlow (steam) and WaveFlow (hot water). With VaporFlow, the robot sprays steam at a temperature of 180°C, effortlessly eliminating tough, dry stains without the need for chemicals. I find that it distributes steam quite evenly with 6 spray nozzles, at an optimal angle of 48°, and an output of 2,000 mg/min. The ability to kill 99.99% of bacteria and reduce allergens by 99.9% is a huge plus for families with children or allergy-prone individuals.

As for WaveFlow, it uses hot water at 86°C for cleaning. This mode is incredibly effective for greasy stains in the kitchen or dining area. The robot features 32 water outlets that evenly heat the roller, and I noticed it removes 100% of cooking oil residue. The 3-layer anti-scale system also helps protect the pipes from clogging, with a claim from the manufacturer that it lasts up to 3 years, which I still need to test over time.

One thing I'm quite reassured about is that the steam mode has been certified by TÜV SÜD as not damaging to wooden floors, even after simulating 5 years of accumulation (18,000 cleaning sessions). Since my home has a lot of wood flooring, I appreciate this safety feature.

Powerful Suction and Special Design for Maximum Cleaning Efficiency

The Roborock F25 Ultra boasts a suction power of 22,000 Pa and a cleaning pressure of 33N, and I find it effectively vacuums up both dry dust and liquids in just one pass. Notably, the robot can clean very close to walls and objects, with less than 1mm clearance. This capability helps eliminate those pesky stains in corners that I often overlook.

The JawScrapers rollers are another significant improvement. The two anti-tangle scraper design prevents hair from wrapping around the roller (with a 0% tangle rate), while also removing dirty water streaks from the floor. I really dislike having to remove hair from the rollers after every cleaning session, so this feature makes me very happy. The blue spotlight also helps me spot hidden dust or stains, things I might have missed earlier.

Smooth Mobility, Reaching Every Nook and Cranny

The F25 Ultra moves quite smoothly thanks to SlideTech 2.0 technology. With two independently controlled brushless motors for each wheel, the robot responds very quickly, making it easy for me to maneuver in tight spaces, whether pushing or pulling. The low tank design and a turning radius of 70° also facilitate easy navigation around furniture.

In particular, the FlatReach 2.0 technology allows the robot to lie flat at 180° with a body height of only 12.5 cm. This means it can effectively clean under beds and sofas without sacrificing suction power. I no longer need to bend down or move furniture; I just use the app to control the robot to go into those areas.

Automation from A to Z: Self-Cleaning and Drying Rollers

This is one of my favorite features: the robot self-cleans and dries the rollers. After completing its task, the roller is washed with steam at 180°C or hot water at 90°C, combined with solid-liquid-gas separation technology, ensuring the roller stays clean. The DirTect sensor also automatically adjusts the cleaning force for the rollers based on how dirty they are. The ability to remove 99.99% of bacteria during the self-cleaning process is another huge bonus.

After washing, the roller is dried with hot air at 95°C. There are two drying modes: a quick 5-minute dry to prepare for the next cleaning session or a quiet 30-minute dry with a noise level of ≤53 dBA, so it doesn’t disturb me when I’m working or resting. The dirty water tank also has a removable dry-wet separation module, making it much easier to empty and clean.

The robot also features automatic detergent dosing; I just need to fill it once, and it can last for 30 days. This solution is safe for the family and is automatically adjusted based on cleaning needs.

Smart Control and Other Convenience Features

The mobile app and voice alerts make using the F25 Ultra more convenient. I can customize cleaning settings as I wish, schedule automatic self-cleaning and drying, or receive alerts when the water tank is low or needs cleaning. The display screen on the robot is also very clear, making it easy for me to track its operational status. The voice alerts are quite helpful, as I don’t need to bend down to check the robot frequently.

Overall, the Roborock F25 Ultra provides a comfortable and effective cleaning experience.
